Rise and Shine


This 75 Minute Class is for students of all levels, beginners and experienced practitioners welcome. The class takes place in the following way: an initial relaxation period, breathing exercises, sun salutations, postures and variations depending of the level of the class, and a final relaxation. The yoga postures (asanas) and the breathing exercises (pranayama) serve to harmonize the body, the mind, and the intellect. This aids in releasing tension, stimulating blood circulation and promoting the proper function of internal organs for total-body health. Each class aims to develop a progression in the learning and the practice of the postures while respecting the capacities of each student.


Through pranayama, meditation and asana practice you will be able to gradually move the mind away from the physical and into the heart. This hatha yoga-based asana practice offers variations and options from beginner level to more advanced poses. Rest the mind in this moving meditation. Also features special breathing techniques, which help to sharpen the mind and concentration. All-level (Unless otherwise specified).


This is an open-level traditional, slow paced, meditative class that helps encourage proper breathing, flexibility, strength and vitality in the body while calming the mind. Class includes pranayama (breathing exercises), warm-ups including Sun Salutations, 12 basic asanas (postures) and deep relaxation. The focus is on mastering the basic postures from which variations are then added to further deepen the practice. The postures follow an exact order that allows for the systematic movement of every major part of the body in a balanced way that enhances prana or life force energy. Additional variations may also be taught.

All students will be guided and supported. Beginners will work on developing body awareness, familiarity with yoga postures, pranayama (breath control) and meditation techniques. Intermediate and advanced students will be encouraged to deepen all aspects of their yoga practice. Using the breath as a focal point, students will be guided through a series of postures progressing from warm up and easier moves to more complex. You will build strength and stamina and leave the class feeling calm and invigorated. All-Level (unless otherwise specified).

Hatha Vinyasa 

This is a gentle version of a hatha yoga class with beginning variations offered, at a slow, meditative pace. This class helps you to build the foundations of your yoga practice, with a focus on proper alignment and cultivation of the mind/body connection. Moving at a slower pace allows you to explore each posture, to move with steady composure, to take the practice to your edge without sacrificing safety or joy. Develop strength, flexibility, balance, and tranquility in this slow flow class, accessible to all students. All-level.

Kundalini Yoga is a complete science that combines postures, movement, mantra, breath technique and meditation into powerful sets called kriyas. Learn how to consciously create greater clarity on the spiritual path that allows your soul to shine and to manifest a greater heart-centered projection.


Surrender into quiet, supported postures using bolsters and blankets. A wonderful compliment to any level of practice, this class will help you travel deep within yourself. Quiets the mind, restores the physical body, helps to release tension and aids in reducing inflammation. You will leave refreshed and spiritually inspired. No experience in yoga is needed to join this class.


Yoga Nidra is known as the art of relaxation. It is a science that can be learned and practiced. Termed "yogic sleep", Yoga Nidra works on healing the body and subconscious mind to relieve muscular, emotional, and mental tension. One hour of yoga nidra is equal to 2 - 3 Hours of Deep Sleep. No yoga experience necessary. Refreshing and rejuvenating!

Yoga Nidra

Experience sonic crystalline healing while being bathed in the vibrations of singing bowls. Achieve a sense of connectedness and peace as the sound clears blockages and restores the vital life energy force which travels through the entire body, down to the very structure of our DNA, allowing us to enter into a total meditative state. Class includes playing of quartz singing bowls by the instructor, meditation, breathing exercises, mantra repetition, and occasional light stretching or a few gentle asanas.

Taught by a different instructor each week, this class will highlight the amazing gifts that the people of our community have to share. Community Yoga

A traditional Hatha yoga class presented in a playful way. These classes encourage children to understand and practice developing kindness in their relationships with people, their bodies, and the earth. Messages of love, peace, compassion, and a respect for the power of fruits and vegetables are woven throughout the practice! *50-minute class

Kids Yoga

Practice yoga with your baby while learning to regain the strength of your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles. Awaken your whole body, release tension and most importantly bond and play with your little one. This class is a great way to meet and socialize with other moms in the neighborhood. Dads, grandparents and caregivers are welcome. Don't gorget to dress up your little one for our class on October 31st! Babies 6 weeks and older. Runs Tuesdays from October 3rd -December 5th 2017, 10 classes for $200, $22 Drop-in.


Mommy & Baby

Pregnancy is time of endless changes, intense emotions, planning and preparation. Yoga practice can help moms-to-be navigate this exciting and demanding period. Meditation, postures and breathing techniques used in class will strengthen and relax the body and mind as well as prepare for childbirth and demands of early parenting. Classes will include postures aiming to release common discomforts of pregnancy. Moms to be at any stage of pregnancy are welcome. We will modify and adjust for each stage to make sure you and your little one are safe and comfortable. Great way to meet moms-to-be in your area forming lifelong friendships.


Each class will begin with 10 minutes of chanting the OM followed by 10 minutes of pranayama, 10 minutes of asana, and we finish with 20 minutes of relaxation, and 10 minutes of seated silent meditation; a complete practice to recharge mentally, physically, and spiritually.
This class will be energizing for yogis of all ages, anyone from child to parent, from grandparent to great grandparent!

Yin and Restore

All forms of yoga can provide benefits physically, emotionally, and mentally and Yin Yoga is similar, however Yin Yoga works the deeper levels of the body/heart/mind: the connective tissues of the ligaments, fascia, joints and bones and the energetic channels of the meridians, nerves and blood system. One big difference noticed by students of Yin Yoga is the long held, passive nature of the posture, which gives time for a deeper journey to unfold, a journey into the meditative aspects of yoga, a bridge to living life mindfully.

Allow gentle music and flickering flames to encourage an inward gaze under the phases of the moon. This class begins with energy-balancing breathing exercises, then warms the body in preparation for mindful rounds of chandra namaskar. A final set of restorative poses and closing moments of meditation will prime practitioners for an evening of deeply restorative sleep.
